Conference: Women and the "New" Corporate Governance
A flyer arrived in the past week or so advertising a very interesting conference at the U. of Maryland: Women and the "New" Corporate Governance. The conference panelists are the usual heavy-hitters in feminist corporate law and some of my favorite colleagues, including Marleen O'Connor, Joan Heminway, Lynne Dallas, Lynn Stout, Cheryl Wade, and Hillary Sale. The date is April 7-8, 2005, which is shaping up to be a very popular corporate law weekend. I am presenting a paper at the University of Toledo Cybersecurities Law Institute on April 8, and the Equal Justice Society & the Center on Corporations, Law & Society are hosting New Strategies for Justice: Linking Corporate Law with Progressive Social Movements on April 8 & 9 at UCLA.
