Snow Down South, Too

I cannot help but chime in on the weather issue. Don't come here to East Tennessee looking for complete relief from the cold, snowy weather.
Yes, we had a dusting of snow here in Knoxville earlier today, and there is a severe snow storm alert for the Smoky Mountains (just a stone's throw from here) that is scheduled to be in effect until 8:00 am tomorrow. Just our luck: we are hosting a faculty recruit here this weekend. The good news is that he's from further North where the weather is predicted to be even worse! It's all relative, I guess.
