What Happened to the Second Female President of the Texas Bar?
Posted by Christine Hurt
Gordon started a gossipfest a few months ago by asking who graduated 2nd in the Stanford Law School class that boasts that Rehnquist graduated 1st and O'Connor graduated 2nd. Today's Houston Chronicle briefly acknowledges that the second female President of the Texas Bar was just named Regent of the University of Texas system. Note the similarities in Colleen McHugh's background to Harriet Miers' background.

Omigod she got her J.D. from St. Mary's! Yuck! I guess this makes Harriet Miers look like Felix Frankfurter by comparison, right folks?
