One year ago, Christine and I launched Conglomerate. Later, in a stroke of brilliance, we invited Vic to join us. Today, we are celebrating our anniversary by giving the blog a new look. We hope you like it.
UPDATE: If you are using Internet Explorer, you should know that the new design of the blog is not displaying on IE. Firefox is working just fine, and I will attempt to fix the IE problem. (Perhaps it should go without saying, but hints as to a solution would be welcome.) In any event, now might be a propitious moment for switching from IE to Firefox.
UPDATE II: Ok, the site is in working order, thanks to the intervention of Rose Wallisch, our local website designer. Thanks, Rose! And thanks to our readers for all of the nice comments on the new design. Also, kudos to Allison Christians, who served as our ad hoc advisor on the header and certain other aspects of the new look.

Congrats! I believe the first annivesary gift is "paper." By the way, the new look showed up on my home IE but not on my work IE. And I must admit that I miss the maroon.

I don't see a significant difference between the display in IE versus Firefox.
It looks just fine in Flock too.
