Happy Mother's Day!

I am taking a break from the kitchen to wish all the mothers a Happy Mother's Day. Sunday is always my day to cook for the family, but on Mother's Day, my wife chooses the meal. The Chicken Kiev is ready to bake, and I am about to start the creme anglais (which I should have made yesterday, darnit!) for the dessert souffle. The rest of the meal is much healthier: green peas, fresh pineapple, and fruit salad.
