As anyone who has had to deal with my charming personality the last few weeks knows, I sent out my article, "The Undercivilization of Corporate Law," on Friday night. I will have the SSRN link soon.
Even though I used the various submission charts that Concurring Opinions helpfully provided, as well as my own scribbles from years past, I still found the process a bit frustrating. Even though I felt rushed to enter the "March window" in the middle of February based on expert advice, many law reviews on ExpressO were listed as closed to submissions until March 1. Others who preferred direct electronic upload last year now say that due to the avalanche that befell them previously, they now only accept submissions by mail. Although technology has surely improved the copying, merging, mailing out process, it has created more variance and with it, different transaction costs.
That being said, I love your law review and can't wait to publish with you.

I wanted you to know that your blog posts on submission strategy and protocol have been invaluable. I managed to place in the Business Lawyer as a law clerk, with three other offers turned down, and believe me...your advice is why. Any potential submitters should take note, the Conglomerate is in the know.
