Ann has the details behind the Clinton campaign's charges of "embellishment" (oh, my!), but calls the issue a "distraction from the list as a whole."

I believe as more and more truth comes out about Obama, people will be sorry they so quickly jumped on his bandwagon. See:

We always called him "Professor" when I was there.
Other "senior lecturers" included Richard Posner and Frank Easterbrook. Except we always called them "Judge".

I have several times referred to Richard Posner as a law professor. I guess I'm a big fat liar, too.
Obviously, we all know that within a law school, the use of titles carries more weight than probably useful. Everyone is a "small p" professor, but not everyone is a "Professor of Law" or even "Assistant" or "Associate" Professor. As someone who was a lecturer for five years while teaching legal writing, I definitely get it. However, to the outside world, everyone who teaches at a law school is a professor. Was he supposed to refer to himself as a "constitutional law lecturer?" This is silly.
