Another Way of Looking at the Government Action over the Weekend

Not President George W. Bush, not Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke…

So maybe the SEC has some shut-out company in the Fed.  The WSJ in particular has been running stories that put Paulson at the center of the events of the last week (they also wrote one on how his brother works - or worked, at any rate - at Lehman), which is either a testament to his centrality, or the kind of thing that political advisers and flacks will be taking credit for when the next GOP administration is trying to decide who to hire.
