Irving Feiner, the defendant in the case that came up with the "heckler's veto," or rule that the government can suppress speech that angers the audience ("fighting words," in other words, but Feiner did it on a soapbox calling for revolution in Syracuse, New York), has died.  But he did have the satisfaction of outliving that rule.
