Michael Goldsmith, RIP
Posted by Gordon Smith
Yesterday, my colleague Michael Goldsmith succumbed to ALS. I blogged about Michael's work with Major League Baseball here.
Late last week, we received word that Michael wasn't doing well, and as I left my office on Friday, I glanced at his baseball card from a Baltimore Orioles fantasy camp. He gave me the card after we served on the Curriculum Committee together. He was a wonderful guy, and I wish we could have had more time together.
Michael's NYT obituary is here, and his hometown obituary is here. Rest in peace, Michael.
