Posted by Usha Rodrigues
for diversity purposes? Answer: "the place where the corporation's high level officers direct, control, and coordinate the corporation's activities," colloquially its "nerve center," and usually its headquarters.
Source: that perennial font of wisdom on all things corporate, the Supreme Court. And no Citizens-United-style dueling opinions here, folks. Hertz Corp. v. Friend was unanimous.
