Dave Meyer and Amy Gajda to New Orleans, and I Have to Pretend to be Happy About This
Posted by Christine Hurt

So, if you've kept up with the blogs this week, you know that my colleague David Meyer, currently the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Illinois, has agreed to be the next Dean of Tulane Law School.  I am doubly sad because apparently his wife and also my colleague, Amy Gajda, thinks she needs to move with him.  I do not doubt that this move presents an amazing opportunity for the Meyer/Gajda clan, and I'm positive that as Dean Dave will do fantastic things for Tulane and the legal community there, but I am too self-centered to let these things temper my disappointment.  Tulane folks, you are getting a great gift -- treat them well.

Congratulations Dave and Amy!  You will be sorely missed.  I expect to see you at every Ebertfest.
