I normally steer clear of politics here, not because I don't have opinions, but because my opinions on politics normally are not worth the bytes that store them. But recent events have emboldened me. I am thankful to hear Joe Biden on Nightline proclaiming that Americans would not use terrorist attacks here as an excuse to oust President Bush. It seems to me that there is one (almost) surefire way to ensure that: President Bush and Senator Kerry should have a summit and develop a unified position on terrorism. In the name of national security, do not make this an election issue!
