Outback Bowl Party
Posted by Gordon Smith
This morning my wife and oldest son and I went to an Outback Bowl party hosted by some friends from Church. Our prayers on behalf of the Badgers were insufficient, but the food was great. My son has recently acquired a taste for football, but he still has not learned the trick of being a well-adjusted fan: don't invest too much emotion in things you cannot influence, like the way 21-year-olds play football. Of course, I was about 30 before I learned that lesson, and it comes in very handy when you root for Wisconsin and BYU.
