London to Host 2012 Summer Games

CNN story here. And thus finally ends the Quixotic campaign of Houston, Texas to host a summer Olympics. Of course, Houston lost the race for the 2012 games awhile back, but the evidence of its expensive dream live on. Light rail from downtown to the stadium, anyone? Meanwhile, commuters can stay on the highway for a few more decades.
