The Enron Jurors
Posted by Gordon Smith
When I changed my prediction on the Enron verdict last week, I wrote: "The government's case was pretty much what I expected, but Lay and Skilling were much worse than I expected."
According to WaPo, the Enron jurors didn't like Lay or Skilling, either.
Re Lay: ""He was very focused, but he had a bit of a chip on his shoulder that made me question his character." Peter Lattman at The Law Blog thinks Lay's testimony was his downfall.
Re Skilling: "Skilling was supposed to be a hands-on individual. It's hard to believe a hands-on individual wouldn't know what was going on." Yep.
