At the end of last week, I had the pleasure of speaking in the Entrepreneurship Speaker Series at the Western New England College School of Law in Springfield. I will have a lot more to say about my topic -- "What Does Law Have To Do With Entrepreneurship?" -- in future posts, but I thought I would mention the "Cook's tour" of the Scibelli Enterprise Center, courtesy of Eric Gouvin. The SEC is housed in the Springfield Armory (yes, that Springfield Armory), and it includes a business incubator and various support organizations, including the Western New England College Law and Business Center for Advancing Entrepreneurship. The whole operation was very impressive, and as I told Eric, I wish we had a business clinic that offered our students a similar experience.
P.S. Did you know that the term "Cook's tour" is named for the English travel agent?
