You keep using that word...
Posted by Gordon Smith
I do not think it means what you think it means.
The word is "lock." March Madness is right around the corner. Last week, ESPN's Bubble Watch showed Duke as a "lock" for the tournament (can we imagine March Madness without Duke?), but this week they have fallen from the ranks of lockdom. (The good news for Memphis, Air Force, Butler, UNLV and Nevada is that they "remain locks.")
Meanwhile, Wisconsin (go Badgers!) and Ohio State are "beyond locks"!
Huh?
