Reminder: Conglomerate Junior Scholars Workshop Begins Monday, June 25, 2007

We are very excited to announce the schedule for the Third Annual Conglomerate Junior Scholars Workshop!  Each of these papers will be presented along with comments from 2-3 academics in that field.  Commentators will be senior scholars with a sprinkling of Glommers, blog friends and former workshop participants.  Some of the commentators currently on the schedule are Larry Garvin, Ronald Mann, Bob Lawless, Kim Krawiec, Sean Griffith, Tom Ulen, Paul Rubin, Larry Ribstein, Barbara Black, Joan Heminway, Dick Kaplan and Kristin Hickman.

Wednesday, June 27:  Miriam Baer (VAP, NYU), Insuring Corporate Crime

Monday, July 2:  Trey Drury (VAP, Loyola), What's the Cost of  a Free Pass?  A Call for the Re-assessment of Statutes that Allow for the Elimination of Personal Liability for Directors

Monday, July 9:  Sasha Volokh (VAP, Georgetown), Privatization and the Law and Economics of Political Advocacy

Wednesday, July 11:  Darian Ibrahim (Arizona), The (Not So) Puzzling Behavior of Angel Investors

Monday, July 16:  Bridget Crawford (Pace), Powers of Attorney:  Their Use, Abuse & Tax Implications
