I had started this Op Ed piece with the line "Keeping up with the John Paul Tudor Jones'," but the editor didn't think anyone would get it.

The editor also chose to drop the word "should" from the last line. I had meant it to read "And those who should, will feel the pain." I kind of like it better the way it came out, though.

I received one comment from a former law partner who says "I know you are much too smart to have written that column as a serious piece." Thanks, I guess. I was serious. Not sure about smart.
