Navel Gazing: Wharton's Latest Alledged Insider Trader
Posted by David Zaring
The Financial Times has a story about how accused insider trader Raj Rajaratnam '83 and a couple of his classmates have joined the Wharton-alumni-with-bail-obligations club, but what I noticed most about the story was that the far-sighted Black Swan guy, Nicolas Taleb (also '83), "got a shock" when he read about the accusation. Not easy identifying every black swan that comes along, is it? Sort of related: this nice post on Richard Fuld's (MBA: NYU) black-swan-like inability to grasp the concept of "price," from Yves Smith (and via MR).
