Conference: Gramm-Leach-Bliley at Ten
Posted by Erik Gerding
Suffolk Law is hosting a conference on April 29 analyzing the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act ten years later. Details here. They've assembled a great line-up (including Kathleen Engel (Suffolk Law), Laurence Kotlikoff (BU - Economics), Lawrence White (NYU Stern), and Art Wilmarth (GW Law)) for an incredibly important, timely, and complex topic. If you want to hear views on what role that the Glass-Steagall repeal did and did not have in current financial crisis, this would be a good place to start.
