Michael Piwowar To Take Over For Troy Paredes At The SEC

Congratulations to Michael Piwowar and Kara Stein, the two senate staffers nominated to the SEC today, but we at the Glom will be sad to see Troy Paredes, a law professor and former guest, leave (he's leaving because his term is expiring and of his own volition). It is our firmly held, and not at all parochial, belief that every agency could do with a few law professors at the top; the SEC will now not have even one.
